Now, the Utilities and Transportation Commission (UTC), a key regulatory agency for this law, has drafted important rules to implement the law, and needs to hear from you. In its draft rules, the UTC makes progress in charting a course to 100% clean electricity for Washington by 2045. Contact the UTC today and tell them to strengthen the 100% clean electricity law. The UTC regulates the investor-owned utilities that together serve the majority of people in our state. We need them to ensure that these utilities are held accountable to all the parts of this historic law.
