John, Trump is set
to address a Joint Session of Congress tonight, and we already know what
his speech will be full of lies about:
* His disastrous handling of the economy
* Immigrants and the LGBTQ+ community
* His plans to cut Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security
* DOGE’s effort to loot our government on behalf of billionaires like
Elon
But while MAGA’s leaders are celebrating, poor and working people across
this country are feeling the pain inflicted by their backwards policies.
Because despite all their lies, the truth is that the Trump administration
and the billionaires behind it are focused exclusively on slashing
benefits the public relies on so they can give huge tax giveaways to the
wealthy. Not lowering the cost of living, bringing down prices, or doing
anything that will help regular people.
Pramila’s working to rebuild the Democratic Party, grow our progressive
movement, and create a government that *actually* puts working people
