These days, we're all doing things differently to keep our communities safer and healthier: putting off travel plans, staying home as much as possible, and wearing face coverings in public. We're also looking for new ways to safely connect with voters.

For example, a few months ago we had volunteers ready to fan out across the Commonwealth to knock on doors and register record numbers of new voters -- this was a critical part of our winning strategy. But since we've been practicing physical distancing, voter registration numbers in Virginia (and across the country) are way below what we were hoping.

We're already shifting our campaign online: offering volunteering opportunities, moving town hall events online, and connecting with our supporters weekly to make sure they have the information and resources they need. Now, we're taking our voter registration strategy online, to make sure that every Virginian has the opportunity to cast their ballot this November.
