Is climate change an urgent threat? Grok 3, Elon Musk’s AI model on his X (formerly Twitter) platform, says no.

You read that right. The man who built his fortune, subsidized by our taxpayer dollars, off of an electric car company doesn’t think climate change is an urgent threat. Give us a break!

When you ask Grok the question “Is Climate Change an Urgent Threat?”, it responds with classic climate denialism. It tries to undermine the overwhelming scientific consensus by responding with statements like, “Others argue it’s overhyped or manageable” and “some scream ‘crisis’, others call it a ‘scam’ or distraction from bigger issues.”

Elon Musk is not our king - but he sure has been acting like it. As the unelected, de-facto leader of the United States, he has ripped apart the function of our executive agencies to further his extreme right-wing agenda.

Elon Musk has long benefited from government support, receiving extensive federal subsidies and contracts that have kept his companies afloat. Yet, he has used his position in the government to rollback federal climate grants – money for me and not for thee.

Utilizing his position within the tech economy, Elon Musk has attempted to become an arbiter of the truth. His takeover of Twitter and the creation of Grok AI serves one purpose: to spread his noxious far right-wing ideology as far and wide as possible.
