Since Trump took office, he has allowed unelected billionaires to gut funding for crucial programs – and his MAGA allies in Congress have refused to stand against him .

Instead, they’re backing his budget plan that would majorly slash Medicaid, which will have devastating consequences for American families who rely on Medicaid for their lives.

Without enough federal funding, states will have to lower benefits, limit coverage, and place stricter eligibility requirements, leaving struggling Americans unable to afford medical care.

And since hospitals, nursing homes, and community health centers often use Medicaid reimbursements to fund their services, cuts to the program may lead to clinic closures. This could leave millions without access to local healthcare resources.

House Republicans have already passed a budget gutting Medicaid funding in the House, so I’ll do anything I can to stop it from passing in the Senate.

More than 250,000 Delawareans rely on Medicaid to cover the cost of the medical treatments they need – and they deserve to keep their coverage fully funded.
