Hey there, Folks.

Tonight, Donald Trump will address a joint session of Congress.

Frankly, if you’ve heard one Donald Trump speech, you’ve heard a thousand.
He’ll blame his failures on immigrants and refugees, Democrats, the media,
civil servants, educators, scientists, union members, and ethics
watchdogs. He’ll continue isolating us from our international allies. 

The one thing we probably won’t hear from Donald Trump tonight is
accountability. 

All the while, Maryland families are hurting, Folks. Prices
still haven’t gone down. Communities are losing vital services. Loyal
civil servants are being punished. Instead of creating jobs, Donald Trump
has forced tens of thousands of Americans out of work.  

So, before the news cycle is taken over by this president’s lies, I want
to make you a promise: I’ll do everything in my power to protect your
power and your rights from those who want to take them away. 

Together, we will push back and push forward.
