In Russia, oligarchs use their political power to enrich themselves behind
a facade of democracy. That’s exactly where Trump is bringing American
democracy.

The Oligarchs bought the election for Trump, and Trump is repaying them
with giant tax breaks, subsidies for fossil fuel corporations, billions
more in government contracts for Elon Musk, and crypto de-regulation
schemes.

This is what the fall of democracy looks like.

Trump and Vance getting into heated public arguments with Zelenskyy is not
the first warning sign, but a deeply concerning acceleration towards
American Authoritarianism.
