Trump will address the nation tonight. I will be on the House floor. I want to look into Trump’s eyes as he tells the American people his lies.
We know the State of the Union is deteriorating…rapidly. This president is betraying our values as Americans. We all feel it, see it, fear it.
There is a growing cancer in the White House that is bent on destroying America from the inside out. Musk, Trump, Vance, and the MAGA Congress are intentionally creating chaos. They are randomly firing critical federal employees we depend on, betraying our allies, including Canada, imposing extreme tariffs on our neighbors, and embracing the criminals who attacked both the U.S. Capitol on January 6 and the Russian killers, including Putin, who are killing innocent Ukrainians every day.
Now, the cancer of Musk and Trump wants to destroy Medicaid. Tax cuts for the rich paid for by cutting healthcare for millions of seniors, expectant mothers, and people with disabilities. They will try to eliminate nutrition programs for hungry children. The richest men in the richest country targeting the poor, the sick and the hungry…it is sadistic.
Cruelty, ignorance, and blatant discrimination are at the root of the policies emanating from the billionaire boys club in the White House. They are the weapons Musk and Trump use with pleasure. They are targeting women, people of color, the LGBTQ+ community, and any of us who stand up for justice and equality. Musk and Trump’s MAGA is focused on mayhem and destruction, not democracy. They want to get even richer, and the American people will pay with our rights and freedoms.
OK. Enough. We cannot quit. We must fight back. Help me fight back.
This is not going to be easy, quick, or painless. People are getting hurt badly – that is the intent of the MAGA movement. But together, we must stay tough, strong, and vigilant.
The campaign to defeat the cancer and take back our country is going to take sacrifice, discipline, and resources.
