The Wisconsin Supreme Court Election is
One Month Away!

Sister District DC Metro Area* needs YOUR help to get out the vote in Wisconsin and support Susan Crawford for WI Supreme Court Justice. Judge Crawford is a state judge in Madison who worked earlier in her career in the administration of former Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle.

You can learn more about her positions and her prosecutorial record here:

https://www.crawfordforwi.com/

WI voters go to the polls on April 1 and this election will determine the bench’s ideological balance for the second time in two years. Next term, the Court is likely to decide major cases on abortion, labor rights, and environmental regulations. It could also take up the constitutionality of the state’s congressional maps. The liberals' majority is at stake in this election!

YOU CAN HELP SUSAN WIN!  Here's how:

Write postcards!

Join the Woman's National Democratic Club for Winning Wednesday on March 12, 6-8 pm, to send postcards for the WI Supreme Court election. Information will be available for you to text to friends and family to get them active.

Register here:   Winning Wednesday: March 12 · Womans National Democratic Club

Join a phonebank!

Join Grassroots Democrats HQ and WisDems to make calls to voters! Phonebanks will take place every week on Wednesdays to recruit volunteers from 6-8 pm, and on Sundays to contact voters from 1-3 pm.

Volunteers will be making calls to talk to voters in Wisconsin about what issues are important to them and the importance of the WI Supreme Court Race and Spring Elections!

We're Looking for (Quite) a Few Good Students...

Help us WIN this year! Sister District is gearing up to defend the Democratic majority in Virginia’s General Assembly, while building the foundation for key victories in 2026. That means safeguarding and expanding state majorities, flipping critical seats, and mobilizing voters early to pave the way for midterm success.

Thanks to our amazing team, we celebrated January special-election victories for two VA candidates, ensuring that the House of Delegates and the State Senate remain blue, and positioning Virginia as a stronghold for progress and a xxxxxx against GOP Governor Glenn Youngkin’s regressive policies.

Our DC Metro Area chapter is looking for students to join us in this year's efforts to hold the VA House and ensure that Democrats can win the Governor’s mansion.

Now more than ever, state legislatures serve as a critical firewall against the worst of Trump’s policies — standing up for reproductive rights, fair elections, working families, and the progressive values that define us.

Come and join our family!  Contact us at: [email protected],

or better yet, meet us at our first Happy Hour of the year on March 21!

Last year again showed that progressive victories are possible when we support local power-building organizations and the activists who lead them. In 2025, Sister District DC Metro Area is more committed than ever to investing in organizations in battleground states that work year-round to register, engage, and educate voters.

New Virginia Majority Education Fund empowers working-class communities of color through year-round organizing for racial, economic, and environmental justice. In 2025, Sister District fundraising will support voter education, election protection, and democracy defense efforts for critical statewide elections.

If you can't join us on March 26, you can still help – please donate now to New Virginia Majority Education Fund!
