Starting April 1, Medicare patients will lose coverage for telehealth services.

Trump’s decision is shortsighted, foolish, and cruel. Seniors who are homebound, especially those in rural and underserved communities, rely on telehealth to manage their conditions when in-person visits aren’t feasible or necessary. What started as a safety measure during the COVID-19 pandemic has quickly become a vital service used by over 12 million Medicare patients.
