John,

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the availability of the first over-the-counter birth control pill in the United States. As a proud member of the Free the Pill coalition, whose tireless work made this monumental achievement possible, we are thrilled that so many people now have easier access to this vital medication.

Give today to continue making birth control more readily available to all.

Anti-abortion groups have made it no secret that they are going after birth control. As they continue a march towards fetal personhood, including outlawing IVF, curtailing birth control is an obvious next target.

Everyone should be able to choose which tools they want to plan their families. Donate to show you agree.

From claiming that birth control is “anti-child” [1] to a new bevy of wellness influencers ringing dubious alarm bells about hormonal contraception [2], we’re keeping tabs and not being quiet about the possibility of losing this very necessary access.

We hope you’ll join us in uplifting contraception in all its forms.

Sincerely,

Shireen Shakouri
Executive VP & Chief of Staff, Reproaction

P.S. Celebrate the wins and then fight for more.
