ADL rejoiced at the release of 25 hostages held in Gaza back to Israel, and mourned the eight individuals whose bodies were returned as part of a temporary ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. ADL joined Israelis and millions of others in mourning the eight murdered hostages, including Shiri Bibas, and her two young sons
Ariel and Kfir.

Liat Altman, Director of Latin American Affairs, led a small delegation of ADL staff to the BAMA Educational Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina where they conducted a Words to Action workshop for teachers and presented on global antisemitism post 10/7. While in Argentina, they also met with Jewish community leaders, youth and young professional groups and more.
