Survey deadline: March 21, 2025

Summary: DHS extended the deadline to complete the survey about provider costs and wages for rate methodology evaluation. The new deadline is March 21, 2025.

Audience: People who receive personal care assistance (PCA), Consumer Support Grant (CSG) and CFSS services, families, providers, lead agencies and other interested parties

Summary: DHS began the transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS on Oct. 1, 2024. We will provide regular updates early in the transition.

Summary: DHS created a report about the 2021 HCBS Workforce Development Grant.

Summary: DHS is fixing an MMIS programming issue for the exception code 635 (i.e., transitional service limit exceeded) related to transitional service line items (i.e., T2038, T2038 U1 and T2038 U2) for the Brain Injury (BI), Community Alternative Care (CAC), Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) and Developmental Disabilities (DD) waivers.

Summary: DHS offers the Culture of Safety Orientation twice a year. This webinar covers human factors and safety science principles necessary to analyze critical incidents and inform decision-making.

Audience: Service providers licensed under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 245A (except those also licensed under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 245D and child care providers)

Summary: DHS and partners developed a new optional training on Minnesota Rules, chapter 9544, commonly referred to as the Positive Supports Rule or the rule on positive support strategies and restrictive interventions.
