I’ve traveled to every single county in our state to hear about the issues that matter most to people and the concerns that keep them up at night.
I understand their frustrations and concerns. We have some of the worst roads in the nation, our public school system is in need of major across-the-board investments, and families don’t even have the peace of mind that comes with knowing the water they’re drinking at the dinner table is clean and safe to consume. Seniors are being burdened with a retirement tax and people are concerned, rightfully so, that not enough is being done to combat climate change.
The budget Garlin and I proposed addresses each of those concerns (and more). But right now, Republicans in Lansing are trying to stop it from becoming a reality.
We’ve got a plan to overcome their obstruction -- showing them that the people of Michigan are demanding action and they want it now. So if you want to join me in sending a message to Lansing and help take our state forward, then I’m going to ask you to match my average donation of $18 on the 18th to support my team’s work.
Our movement was built by the people and our agenda puts the people of Michigan first. No more waiting, no more delays, it’s time for action.
Let’s get things done,
Gretchen
