Dear John,

As we enter this blessed month of Ramadan, we are reminded of our duty to stand for justice and protect the rights of those who speak truth to power. Today, we need your support to defend Muslim and pro-justice students who are being unfairly targeted for exercising their First Amendment rights.

Two Harvard students, Ibrahim I. Bharmal and Elom Tettey-Tamaklo, are facing baseless criminal charges for their roles as a safety marshal and organizer during a peaceful pro-Palestine protest. Their actions were lawful, yet they are being unjustly targeted—a disturbing attempt to silence dissent and criminalize advocacy for human rights.

MPAC is taking action. We are amplifying their story, engaging with legal officials to push for the dismissal of these charges, and standing up for students across the country who are being silenced for defending justice.

This Ramadan, as we seek renewal and mercy, let’s extend our support to young leaders like Ibrahim and Elom. Your zakat-eligible donation ([link removed]) will help us continue this critical work—defending students, safeguarding their rights, and ensuring our community can speak freely without fear.
