This critical bill upholds the rights of female athletes by ensuring that sports teams designated for women and girls remain exclusively for biological females. This legislation is necessary to preserve equal opportunities for female athletes who train and compete with the expectation of a level playing field. Allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports undermines decades of progress and puts female athletes at an unfair disadvantage, denying them scholarships, records, and even safety in competition.
