In a minute, I’m going to ask for your help hitting our May Momentum Goal. But first, I want to start this email by saying thank you. When we started our “virtual campaign” in mid-March, there was no playbook for how to navigate this public health crisis. We really didn’t know what to expect.

Would our volunteers still stay active without being able to gather at our campaign headquarters? Would we still be able to make connections with voters over video chat instead of meeting in person? Would folks still be able to pitch in and fund our grassroots movement? Would people still care about politics at a time like this?

The answer to all of these questions is: YES!

We’ve seen an outpouring of support from every corner of the state. Our volunteers made thousands of wellness calls to make sure folks had what they needed during this crisis. We’ve seen incredible energy at our virtual meet and greets and town halls. And, this grassroots team is stepping up, bringing in more contributions than ever before.

This movement is heading into June stronger than ever. But we can’t stop now. That’s why we’re closing out this month with a May Momentum Goal. We’re hoping to bring in 2,020 contributions before midnight on Sunday.
