In a moment, I’m going to ask you to chip in to my re-election campaign so Democrats can take back the Senate in 2026, but first, I want to tell you why it’s so important we do—and it’s not just about us simply having a majority for votes.

I’ve spoken to hundreds of Virginians in the past few weeks so I can keep folks updated on how I’m fighting back against the Trump administration’s chaos. Many of them were federal workers laid off by the billionaire co-president.

The point is, people are scared. A lot of the things Trump is doing are dangerous for Americans. Community health centers shuttered. More jobs jeopardized. Trump’s administration is chock-full of folks who frankly don’t have the experience required for these important positions.

But no matter how scared Americans are, Republicans aren’t speaking up. They didn’t speak up when they voted to approve Trump’s nominees, knowing that many didn’t have the qualifications. They didn’t speak up when Musk sent his mysterious, inexperienced DOGE Bros to sort through Americans’ private, personal data.

We need leaders who aren’t afraid to speak up.

Because speaking out against the Trump administration is how we contain the chaos—until 2026, when we must take back the Senate and make sure the majority is one with leaders who don’t fear the repercussions of taking a stand when they know something is wrong for Americans.
