Wyoming House Bill brings management of otters back to Game and Fish
CHEYENNE — Wyoming House Bill 0045, which removes otters from protected status, took effect after Gov. Mark Gordon signed the bill into law Feb. 24. For the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, the bill will have important impacts for the management of otters in the state.
Game and Fish to gather public comment on Sublette antelope migration corridor risk assessment
CHEYENNE - Throughout April, public meetings will be held to seek input regarding the ongoing designation of the Sublette antelope migration corridor. Game and Fish wildlife managers are moving forward with this designation process, in accordance with Wyoming’s Migration Corridor Executive Order.
Watercraft transported across states must be inspected for AIS
 CHEYENNE — Beginning this month, Game and Fish will be resuming seasonal operations for aquatic invasive species (AIS) check stations across Wyoming. These mandatory stations help ensure watercraft are not bringing invasive species of mussels into the state’s waterways.
