The truth has finally come to the surface: leaked documents¹ published in January confirm a clear partnership between Microsoft and Israel’s military operations throughout Israel’s nonstop assault on the people of Gaza. These documents show that Microsoft has supplied a range of tech tools, from cloud systems to millions of dollars in engineering support, to the IDF as they carried out genocide.²

Last week, five Microsoft workers with the No Azure for Apartheid campaign petitioned Microsoft’s CEO for answers at an “employee town hall.”⁴ Despite standing silently with shirts reading “Does our code kill kids?” the workers were kicked out of their own town hall and denied re-entry. The fact that Microsoft leadership can’t (or won’t) answer their question is chilling.

Without accountability to their workers or consumers, Big Tech companies will do almost anything for the most profitable contract—including facilitating the slaughter of Palestinians and the enforcement of occupation. If they don’t experience counterpressure, Microsoft and its peers will keep producing code that kills kids and refusing to answer for it.
