*Mar. 3, 2025*
Good afternoon,
We are just 20 working days away from LCB’s expansion of the online Portal set to launch on Mar. 31, 2025. The new system that will be in effect after Mar. 31 to support the capacities of new Portal is named the Licensing Enforcement Education Administrative Data Systems (LEEADS).
*Here’s what you need to know now *
On Mar. 13, we will test the processes for switching over to the new Portal during a “dry run” of the system which will take place in a test environment. The dry run will not impact access to our current Portal or to other LCB services.
*Results of the dry run *
The dry run is one of the decision points at which we will decide if we are ready to launch on Mar. 31, or if we need to wait a bit until any issues found in the dry run get fixed. We will let you know when we have the results of the dry run and the decision to move forward.
*What the changes will do *
It replaces several outdated siloed systems with a single modern platform built using Salesforce. The result will be increased efficiency, ease-of-use, and transparency for customers and staff.
*What the Portal will do for customers *
The expanded Portal will then allow you to access many of LCB’s services online and to see your account history, make payments, and do other tasks that currently require email, calls, and physical mailing of forms and other documentation.
*What you will need to do after Mar. 31, 2025 *
*
You will need to set up an LCB Portal account.
*
You will also need to have a Secure Access Washington (SAW) [ [link removed] ] account. Many businesses and licensees already have a SAW account. You’ll need your SAW User Name and Email Address as you set up a Portal account.
We will have details on the process on our website, as well as contacts to use if you need assistance when setting up your account. You can find details about the Portal launch here [ [link removed] ].
Our goal is to serve you better, with greater efficiency and access to our services. We appreciate your patience as we move toward this goal.
