PFLAG Connects: Communities March Meetings

The PFLAG Connects: Communities program provides a safe, virtual, moderated space where people with shared experiences can connect each month. PFLAG National’s current communities gather people of Latino, Black/African American, Asian American and Pacific Islander backgrounds—as well as families with gender-diverse loved ones, grandparents, and dads—to gain support, ask questions, and learn from others who have been through similar experiences.

We also host a Military Community meeting, in partnership with our friends at the Modern Military Association of America (MMAA).

It's Women's History Month!

To celebrate National Women’s History Month, we’ll be spotlighting powerful LGBTQ+ women in history and their contemporaries on our social channels, all month long. As trailblazers and visionaries, these women are exceptional leaders without compromising their identities. Their advocacy has made a difference for us all.

Stay tuned as we celebrate their stories and be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, and LinkedIn.

Read With Love this National Reading Month!

Looking to add more LGBTQ+ titles to your TBR? Check out our PFLAG National Read With Love Booklist. Here are a few recommendations:

  • “American Teenager: How Trans Kids are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy in a Turbulent Era” by Nico Lang
  • “Last Night at the Telegraph Club” by Malinda Lo
  • “Lost Prophet: The Life and Times of Bayard Rustin” by John D’Emilio
  • “Giovanni’s Room” by James Baldwin

March is Bisexual+ Health Month

Created by our friends at the Bisexual Resource Center, Bisexual+ Health Awareness Month raises awareness about the bisexual+ community’s social, economic, and health disparities, advocates for resources, and inspires actions to improve bi+ people’s well-being.

Check out the Bisexual Resource Center to learn more: bihealthmonth.org or visit our website for more bisexual+ resources.
