In 2025, Outright International marks 35 years of advancing human rights for LGBTIQ people across the globe.

For three and a half decades, we have been at the forefront—documenting human rights violations against LGBTIQ people, advocating for equality and inclusion, and ensuring that frontline organizations have the resources to deliver life-saving services to those most at risk.

35 years of showing up. 35 years of pushing forward. 35 years of standing with LGBTIQ communities—no matter what.

But this milestone comes at a critical time.

Anti-LGBTIQ backlash is intensifying.
Trans, intersex and non-binary people are being targeted.
U.S. foreign aid cuts are threatening essential programs.

And yet—we are not backing down.

If the past 35 years have shown us anything, it’s that our movement is resilient. Together, we rise—again and again—because our communities depend on it.

Our commitment remains the same:
👉 Supporting global LGBTIQ movements in the fight for dignity, safety, and better lives.
👉 Amplifying activists' voices as they expose injustice and share their lived realities.
👉 Advocating for lasting inclusion and equality in every part of the world.
