After YEARS of Katie Hobbs wanting open borders, even just in January saying she would resist deportations and Trump's efforts to close the border, she FINALLY relented- a little.
She still doesn't want to help ICE with deportations, but at least she is working on closing the border.
That's right- your donations, your calls, your efforts to close the border are FINALLY being heard- even by Dems.
More news. The State Senate is setting up a task force to attack sex trafficking in our communities.
I am honored to be on this task force!
The cartels and gangs engaging in sex trafficking are evil. They trick or coerce young girls- many just children- to come to Arizona, only to be unpaid prostitutes. Sex slaves.
It's repugnant, it's evil, and the cartels and gangs engaging in it lack any semblance to humanity. If you say you want to protect children, closing the border and aggressively attacking these monsters is needed.
We will approach every facet of this evil, and work to eradicate it from Arizona.
It starts with closing the border and with rooting these monsters from our communities. Then we can begin to heal.
Over the last couple of years, it seemed often like our calls to close the border were shouting in the dark: the Dems simply wouldn't listen.
Dem Governor Katie Hobbs still won't listen on some things regarding the border. But at least now Hobbs will do SOMETHING.
However, if we want to pass the ICE Act to help deport illegals, if we want to fully fund the effort to close the border, if we want to stop the evils of sex trafficking, we will need MORE PRESSURE to make it happen!
