Cook Political Report:
Turnout surge that propelled California Democrats in 2016 and ‘18 “nowhere to be found”

Friend -- As TJ’s campaign manager, it’s part of my job to keep track of trends in elections across the country.

What happened just south of us in CA-25 hit a little close to home. Part of why we didn’t see a “turnout surge” is no doubt pandemic related, but that doesn’t change the fact that we have our work cut out for us this year.

We need a surge of momentum to prove that we can turn things around and build a groundswell of Democratic support by the time ballots drop in mailboxes this October.

That’s why we gave TJ a fresh goal of raising $15,000 before Sunday -- it’ll be a bit of a challenge, but one I know he’s certainly able to meet with your help, friend.

Can you help us reach our goal by chipping in $3 today?

We know it’s a tough time for many of us -- the current crisis proves that we need leaders like TJ in Congress now more than ever.

TJ has done so many great things just this month including voting to pass a stimulus that actually meets the needs of working families here in the Central Valley and across the country. Unlike his opponent, David Valadao, TJ is also committed to prioritizing health care for those in need.

We can prove headlines like these wrong come November, but we can’t do it alone out here.

Please, help us raise $15,000 in grassroots donations before the end of the month so we can drive up Democratic turnout in CA-21 and keep the House blue.

Thanks in advance,

Amanda Sands
Campaign Manager
