Hi John,
It was amazing to see so many of you all at our annual pro-life conference, Together We Advocate, yesterday!
Tomorrow, it's time to put our pro-life convictions into action.
The public hearing for the radical new assisted suicide expansion bill, SB 1003, is taking place at the state Capitol tomorrow.
I need as many people as possible to show up for those who cannot advocate for themselves.
Join me at the Capitol TOMORROW to oppose this dangerous bill and support the medically vulnerable members of our community.
Don't worry, you won't need to give a speech! Your presence alone will send a strong message.
What: Be part of an overwhelming pro-life presence opposing SB 1003
Where: Oregon State Capitol, Hearing Room E
Date: TOMORROW: Monday, March 3rd
Time: 3:00 PM
Clothing/Signs: Capitol rules state that visitors cannot bring signs... however, you may wear clothing with messaging, so please come wearing a pro-life t-shirt, sweatshirt, or pin if you have them!
It's so important to present a united pro-life presence tomorrow. This assisted suicide bill is a very dangerous piece of legislation.
SB 1003 would reduce the 15-day waiting period to just 48 hours, allow non-physicians to prescribe lethal medication, and require hospices to advertise whether they facilitate assisted suicide
Whether or not you are able to come on Monday, please make sure to submit written testimony opposing SB 1003. Your voice can truly make a difference.
