Justice’s work is essential to reforming our country’s broken justice and
legal systems.

I ran for District Attorney of Multnomah County - Portland, because I
believe in a fairer justice system for all. District Attorneys have the
distinct power to decide who is held accountable for their actions and
how.

Real Justice understands that. If we want police accountability and to end
racial profiling of our communities, then we need better DAs. And if we
can continue to elect reform-minded, good prosecutors to DA offices
throughout the country, we will see large-scale transformation of what
justice looks like in this nation.

Real Justice works to train talented organizers and disperse them to
campaigns across the country. Their organizers have helped land victories
in San Francisco, Boston, San Antonio, Philadelphia, and now in Portland.

I was proud to be endorsed by Real Justice, and I know that their support
was vital to my campaign’s success. They have a slate of other
community-focused and reform-minded candidates they’ve endorsed this year,
and we need to help them get elected.
