President Trump and Republicans just took the first step to gut critical programs like Medicare and Medicaid to make room in the budget for tax breaks for their wealthy friends.

Trump endorsed the House resolution which will slash Medicaid — along with support for our veterans and nurses, doctors, and scientists who work to keep Wisconsin families healthy. And all but one House Republican voted in favor of it.

As Wisconsin's Senator and member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, Tammy stands with the 1.1 million Wisconsin seniors, children, and veterans who depend on Medicaid. In defense of this essential health care, Tammy joined a group of her colleagues to demand Republicans keep their hands off Medicare and Medicaid.
