This is Victoria with her third cub, Hamish, who was the first polar bear cub to be born in the UK for 25 years, at Highland Wildlife Park in 2017. Hamish was moved to Yorkshire Wildlife Park in 2020.

There are so many examples of cruelty to animals in captivity, including to polar bears.

Keeping such wide-ranging animals who spend most of their days in the wild traveling, in cages up to one-millionth the size of their natural home range purely for entertainment and profit is truly shocking.
