Our finance plan is like a staircase, John, in that it’s impossible to move to the next level until completing the one before it, and a shaky foundation compromises the entire structure.

So when we write to you about meeting each fundraising benchmark -- a weekly, monthly, or quarterly goal -- what we’re really talking about is the next level of growth. We talk about the small steps in order to plan for the big picture: building a strong operation that will win in November.
And the fact is that, right now, we risk falling short of our May fundraising goal.

The movement we’re building is rooted in the belief that we, as Southwest Washingtonians will be the architect of our future. So when Carolyn gets to Congress, it’s going to be because we built a grassroots movement with you right by our side.
