EmpowHER Nominations Are OPEN!

Dear Mr. John xxxxxx,

District 20 is home to trailblazing women who shape our communities every single day. In honor of National Women’s History Month, and the phenomenal women of FL-20, I am excited to announce the second annual EmpowHER Awards — dedicated to recognizing the accomplishments of the women who have left their mark on our community and beyond, and the men who have supported them.  

The EmpowHER Awards recognize women of all backgrounds and journeys, highlighting the importance and necessity of equal opportunity. This will be an opportunity to acknowledge their accomplishments across FL-20 and drive progress toward gender equity. These awards also allow us to honor the men in our community who are devoted to empowering women.

I encourage you to nominate women who have made significant contributions to the FL-20 community, and the men who advocated for them.

The deadline for submissions is March 9, 2025, at 6:00 pm EST.  Nominees must be residents of Florida's 20th Congressional District or serve within the district.
