As Ben's finance director, it's my job to make sure we keep hitting our fundraising goals. That's why I'm reaching out today: We have a critical end-of-month deadline coming up in just two days, and we could really use your help raising the remaining $4,600 we need for May.

I also want to make sure you saw what happened this week, because our goal just got even more important: A new ruling is going to make it even easier for political groups to hide their wealthy donors and spend big money to sway elections.

For our race, this means the special interest groups we shut out in 2018 will be back -- and you can bet they'll be pouring money into this district to defeat Ben and buy back their influence.

If we learned anything from 2018, it's that the best way to stop these special interest groups is with a grassroots movement. This team defeated these same groups last year, so I know we can do it again. But it's going to take all of us stepping up to do it, which is why we need to raise $4,600 before the end of the month to hit our goal.

So I have to ask: Will you donate to our grassroots campaign today? Meeting our May fundraising goal will be critical to stopping these special interest groups from taking back this district.
