John, we just
witnessed a truly shocking moment in the Oval Office. And in our history.

Just 24 hours ago, Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr
Zelenskyy met to discuss the future of U.S. aid to our partner and ally.
It took just minutes before he and J.D. Vance tag-teamed, attacking our
Ukrainian allies, appeasing Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, and
name-calling me – all effectively in the same breath.

During the press conference, a reporter asks Trump: “What happens if
Russia breaks the ceasefire? What happens if Russia breaks peace talks?”

It’s a fair question,

Vladimir Putin is a ruthless dictator who has invaded his own neighbor and
killed tens of thousands of people to try and remake the map of Europe.

I want to share the full, unedited transcript of how Donald Trump
responded, because his answer is truly disturbing:

“What if anything?! What if a bomb drops on your head right now? What if
they broke it? I don’t know, they broke it with Biden because they didn’t
respect him. They didn’t respect Obama. They respect me. Let me tell you:
Putin went through a hell of a lot with me — he went through a phony
witchhunt where they used him and Russia. Russia, Russia, Russia. Did you
ever hear of that deal? That was a phony Hunter Biden, Joe Biden scam.
Hillary Clinton. Shifty Adam Schiff, who was a Democrat scam. And he had
to go through that. And he did go through it. We didn’t end up in a war.
And he went through it. He was accused of all that stuff — he had nothing
to do with it.”

I’ll cut to the chase:

President Zelenskyy is bravely fighting to save his country, and our
western allies need support more than ever.

Instead of offering our support at the darkest moment, Donald Trump
cowardly kneeled to appease Vladimir Putin.

And after this meeting between a true hero and a cowardly appeaser, the
hero will return to Ukraine.

The president’s conduct was despicable, but it’s no wonder Donald Trump
holds so much sympathy for Russia. Putin has been one of his most loyal
allies since Trump ran for president in 2016. Russia hacked the Democratic
party, stole a bunch of emails, and leaked them. They set up a troll farm
to push out misinformation on social media to divide Americans and get him
elected.

And now that he’s back in office, the President of the United States is
abandoning our alliances — all to Putin and Russia’s benefit. This is
exactly the chaos and abandonment our adversaries want to see.

This is not the road America should be going down. All of us — Democrats,
Republicans, elected officials and ordinary citizens — must push back with
every tool we have to save democracy as we know it.

This is not the time to back down. We must stand up and fight back.
