Hi John, Arizona’s First District (the district I’m running to represent) is the 11th largest district in the entire country and 45% of the district is rural. Running in such a large, rural district means that some voters can only be reached one way — by mail. That’s a good and bad problem for us to have. While mail is one of the most effective ways to connect with voters, it’s also one of the most expensive. We have an effective direct mail strategy ready to go that can push us over the edge in August, but we need the cash to fund it. And right now, we are just $5,173 away from our monthly goal.
Our opponent isn’t expecting us to put up this kind of fight. The establishment and the corporations that fund him aren’t either. But by having a strong mail strategy, we can bolster our chances in August and truly seize this rare opportunity to return this district back to everyday, working people. And as a bonus we’ll help our struggling United States Postal Service that is fighting for survival and against corporate takeover! Even if you can only contribute $5 or $10, every dollar makes a big difference. Let’s send a big message to those who think we can’t pull this off. In solidarity, Eva Putzova
