Welcome to our Team Tillis newsletter, where we discuss what Thom has been up
to from the campaign trail to Capitol Hill, and everything in between!

Friend,

A new month is upon us, and Thom remains steadfast in his commitment to
getting President Trump’s cabinet confirmed so they can begin delivering
results for the American people.

Those who have been through the process successfully are already securing
major wins. For example, Attorney General Pam Bondi just announced that 29
wanted criminals from Mexico have been taken into U.S. custody since she took
office. As Thom pointed out, one of these thugs wasresponsible for the tragic
death

of Wake County Deputy Sheriff Ned Byrd. After years on the run, he will
finally face justice.

This is exactly why it’s critical to support President Trump and push forward
the America First agenda. We must continue to put law and order first, secure
our borders, and ensure that criminals are held accountable—because American
lives depend on it.

Confirmations Continue: 20 Down, Only a Few More to Go!

Thom has been working at a historic pace to help confirm President Donald J.
Trump’s cabinet nominees—securing 20 confirmations so far.

Congratulations to Dan Driscoll, who was just confirmed as Secretary of the
Army. Thom was proud to vote for a fellow North Carolinian and looking forward
to working with Dan to ensure our service members, particularly those at Fort
Bragg, have the resources they need to succeed.

This week, Thom also voted to confirm Jamieson Greer as United States Trade
Representative. Jamieson is dedicated to promoting America’s interests, and
we’re confident he will do a great job.

But we’re not finished yet! If all goes as planned, Linda McMahon will be our
new Secretary of Education, which will be a critical pick as President Trump
looks to restructure America’s education system to better serve our children.

Legislative Highlights: Plasma-Based Medicines and Rural Healthcare

Thom had healthcare top-of-mind this week as he introduced two pieces of
legislation with various Senate colleagues.

Along with Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ), he introduced the bipartisan Preserving
Life-saving Access to Specialty Medicines in America (PLASMA) Act, legislation
to ensure individuals with rare diseases and immunodeficiencies have access to
necessary plasma-based medicines. It’s important that critical patients with
rare diseases and immunodeficiencies have uninterrupted access to the
life-saving plasma-based medicines they need, and this commonsense legislation
increases access and affordability.

Additionally, he helped introduce the Conrad State 30 and Physician Access
Reauthorization Act,bipartisan legislation to increase the number of doctors
working in rural and medically underserved areas. As Thom pointed out, too many
rural areas in North Carolina and across the country lack the health care
workforce needed to provide quality and timely care. This bipartisan
legislation allows American-trained doctors to help fill those gaps so we can
expand access to critical health care in medically underserved areas.

North Carolina News: Apple Announces Major U.S. Investment That Will Bring
Thousands of Jobs to North Carolina

Apple announced this week that it will spend more than $500 billion in the
U.S. over the next four years, and North Carolina will directly benefit from
this investment.

After a meeting between President Trump and Apple CEO Tim Cook, the tech giant
announced that Apple teams and facilities will expand in nine states, including
North Carolina. As Thom put it, the company’s decision to expand its data
center capacity in North Carolina is a great win for the state and will help
create thousands of new jobs for our residents.
