John,

Join the Fight to Protect Our Kids – Take Action on March 4!

Our students deserve safe, well-funded schools where they can thrive. But right now, public education is under attack. The Trump Administration’s plan to dismantle the Department of Education threatens to strip essential resources from schools across the country—hurting students, educators, and communities.

That is why Color of Change is supporting the efforts of the National Education Association for the Protect our Kids campaign. On March 4, 2025 they are launching a NATIONWIDE organizing effort to demand action. Together, we can push back against these devastating cuts and make our voices heard loud and clear.

We need YOU to help spread the word and mobilize your community. Here’s how you can take action: Host a local event to help spread our message. Raise awareness and share your story. Take a stand and demand that lawmakers protect public education and reject harmful policies.

This moment requires all of us, with the mounting issues and attacks on public education, we must show up to protect public schools and students, push back against executive overreach, protect public education, ensure safe schools for immigrant students, and tell the truth about vouchers.

You can do something about it! Host a rally, teach-in, or press conference on March 4th in your community to highlight the impacts of these cuts.

Already, hundreds of people across the country are signing up to join in and use their voices to Protect Our Kids!

Our students are depending on us — parents, educators, community members — to roll up our sleeves and get involved in our schools, speak up at school board meetings and champion the education they need.

John, whether it’s advocating for accurate history in education or supporting additional COC and NEA initiatives, your involvement is crucial in ensuring that our students get the quality education they deserve.
