This year, 2025, marks San Francisco Transit Riders' 15th anniversary since the formation of our organization. In 2010, our founder, Dave Snyder, and other passionate San Francisco riders sought to form a transit rider advocacy group. Today, we still follow the organization’s original mission statement to “promote excellent and growing public transit in San Francisco.” The past 15 years have been dedicated to building a community of riders and showing our city’s decision-makers the impact we can make when we advocate for our joint goals.
