Before I start: If you chipped in any amount at all toward my February end-of-month fundraising goal, I hope you know how much I truly appreciate it.

Sadly, it wasn't enough to close the last $924 gap to my $20,000 goal.

I am hearing non-stop from folks in Washington state about how the mass firings have ripped the rug out from under their families, how the illegal freezing of federal funding has stalled important projects to make our communities safer, and how Trump and Musk putting the squeeze on scientific research will have long-term consequences for patients and medical care.

I want our fundraising numbers to show that Democrats are fired up and ready to fight back. We’re close, but I need YOUR help to get us over the finish line.

If we don't close this gap, Republicans will take it as a sign that we don't have the momentum to stand up to their pro-billionaire, anti-middle-class, anti-abortion, and sometimes downright unconstitutional agenda.

But if everyone reading this pitches in $5 before midnight, we can prove them dead wrong – so I'm extending the deadline for one night only to make up the difference.

Team – I can't keep up the fight for working families in Washington state and across our country without your support. Will you please rush $5 right now to help close the gap?
