John,

George Floyd should be alive today. And his murderers must be brought to justice.

First, sign the Color of Change petition to demand the police officers who killed George Floyd are charged with murder >> [link removed]

Then call the Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman at (612) 348-2146:

"Hello, my name is [your name]. I'm calling because I demand accountability for the racist murder of George Floyd. I demand that you press charges against all of the police officers involved in the incident. George Floyd should be alive today, and all cops involved must be held accountable for his murder in order to get justice for George's family and prevent this brutality and violence from happening in the future. Thank you."

If you're having trouble getting through, try (612) 348-5550.

Corporations are making billions during this global pandemic off the backs of Black and Brown people being paid poverty wages and dying from COVID-19 at higher rates than anybody else. Our President called for violence against protesters yesterday. Police arrested a Black-Latinx CNN reporter on live television this morning just for doing his job reporting on the actions.

This is what racism and Black suffering looks like in America today. All of it is connected. When we fight for fair wages and the right to join together in a union, we are also fighting to live without fear of being murdered.

I have a son. I have grandsons. I was born and raised in St. Louis, and I was in the streets during the Ferguson protests after Michael Brown was killed. Justice cannot be won without action being taken. This is true at McDonald's where I work to fight for $15 and a union AND where I live in St. Louis as a Black woman dealing with racism and oppression every day.

I stand with protesters in demanding justice for the senseless killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and too many others >> [link removed]

Black lives matter. Black futures matter.
