John – Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and Republicans are gutting federal agencies to make us believe that we don’t deserve a government that works for us.
The Department of Energy, which oversees the operation of nuclear facilities - gutted.
The Department of Education, which protects kid’s equal access to learning - gutted.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, who looks out for people, not big banks - gutted.
The list goes on and on.
These mass layoffs and funding cuts are arbitrary and dangerous – and are putting people’s lives at risk. The consequences will be felt for years to come.
The destruction is the point.
But here’s the thing: we have the power to organize, speak up, and fight back against Trump’s auctioning off of our health and public safety. It starts and ends with elections.
