Breaking: Millions of people left without access to life-saving aid.

Rush your support now ▸

The world’s most vulnerable people — families caught in conflict and disaster — urgently need your help.

This week, the U.S. government cut more than 10,000 foreign assistance grants and contracts. This devastating move has included terminating Mercy Corps programs helping nearly 5 million people in urgent need— many of whom rely on this life-saving support.

The consequences are dire: Lives will be lost if the aid doesn’t flow.

In Sudan, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo, people in need of food, clean water, and shelter will have nowhere else to turn. In West Africa, our programs to prevent youth radicalization by violent extremist groups will grind to a halt. In Colombia, Venezuelan refugees will be cut off from cash assistance that helps sustain them.

This is where your support becomes crucial. Your generosity can help keep vital aid flowing for people in crisis. Will you rush a gift to help ensure families don’t lose access to food, water, shelter, and other critical resources?

The terminated Mercy Corps programs would have provided nearly 5 million people with vital services this year, including:
In Ethiopia, where more than 32,800 children will no longer receive life-saving emergency nutrition services.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, where more than 200,000 people will lose consistent and safe access to clean drinking water and sanitation.

In Syria, where 118,000 conflict-affected people living in and near displacement camps will lose access to life-sustaining water, sanitation and hygiene services and more than 3,000 people will lose access to emergency cash to buy food.
Rest assured, our team remains as committed as ever to helping families facing unimaginable challenges like war, disaster, poverty, and hunger.

We are committed to doing everything we can to continue providing assistance to people in urgent need.

But we need your help — send your support to help Mercy Corps meet the urgent needs of families across the globe.
