If you own a small business or nonprofit—or worked at a business impacted by the recent wind and wildfire disaster—don’t miss your chance to apply for the LA Region Small Business and Worker Relief Funds before the deadline on Wednesday, March 12.

Small Business Relief Fund: Offers cash assistance grants up to $25,000 for small businesses and nonprofits that suffered structural damage, equipment or inventory loss, or revenue loss due to the disaster.

Worker Relief Fund: Provides cash assistance grants up to $2,000 for workers who lost employment or income because of the disaster.

Get Financial Help Through the LA County Household Relief Grant
If your home was affected by the Eaton and Palisades fires or recent windstorms, you may qualify for immediate financial assistance through the LA County Household Relief Grant. This program provides essential support to impacted households while they await insurance or government recovery aid.

CalOES will host Applicant Briefings for cities, school districts, state agencies, and eligible private nonprofit organizations to discuss public assistance funding due to a disaster declaration The deadline to apply for assistance is March 9.

If you have opted in and would like the status of Phase 2 debris removal, use this tool to search your address and monitor real-time updates on your submission.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has completed debris removal on the first residential property to undergo Phase 2 cleanup operations. Read more here.
For those opting into the government-sponsored debris removal program, the online Right of Entry form is available here. The form also is available in Spanish, Russian, Armenian, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.

For those who opt-out: Property owners who choose to hire private contractors for fire debris removal can now receive a permit that allows home and business owners and their authorized private contractors to manage their own debris removal efforts while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental standards.
The first edition of the Eaton and Palisades Fire Debris Removal permit is available via the County’s EPIC-LA system. For more details, click here.
