Hi John,
The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative envisions a future in which education and technology help educators unlock student potential and accelerate meaningful progress for all. We continue to thoughtfully explore how to incorporate artificial intelligence into tools in partnership with researchers, district leaders, edtech developers, and other domain experts for the public good. Through collaboration, CZI wants to leverage the best technology to foster the development of research-backed educational tools for students and educators.
We’re excited to share the launch of Education First’s AI x Coherence Academy, which will help educators in their efforts to implement AI in ways that are responsible, research-backed, and impactful. Eleven school districts and charter management organizations will participate in this nine-month program. School leaders will explore and apply Education First’s AI x Coherence Framework ([link removed] ) and receive tailored coaching, community-building opportunities, and a $25,000 grant to advance their district’s AI priorities.
We look forward to seeing how these district leaders come together to develop strategies to inform the future of AI in education. Together, we can ensure AI is implemented thoughtfully to enhance learning and drive meaningful progress.
