It’s no secret that we’re living in divided times. Donald Trump is back in office, Republicans hold majorities in the House and Senate, and extreme, hateful rhetoric permeates our politics. But I believe that our values of democracy, equality, and freedom will prevail.

I plan to spend these next two years working with other leaders to make meaningful change for North Carolinians.
