Neighbors,

This week, my Committee on Business and Economic Development held its final performance oversight hearing of the year, where we heard from key government agencies, including the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED), the Office of the People’s Counsel (OPC), and the Office of Nightlife and Culture. These hearings are critical in evaluating how our government is serving residents and businesses, and I remain committed to ensuring accountability and efficiency in our economic policies.

Beyond the work at the Wilson Building, my team and I have been out in the community, engaging with residents, business owners, and local leaders to hear firsthand about the issues that matter most. Your voices continue to shape my priorities, and I appreciate every opportunity to connect with you.

Looking ahead, on Tuesday, March 4th, the Council will convene for a legislative meeting, where we will consider key policies impacting our city. I encourage all residents to stay informed and engaged as we work toward solutions that support our communities and move the District forward.

As always, my office is here to assist you. Thank you for your continued partnership in building a stronger, more prosperous D.C.

In service,
