Dear John,
Can you believe it’s almost June? And with July just around the corner, we could not be more excited for the Autism Speaks July 4th 5K! As we continue to monitor the evolving situation related to COVID-19, our top priority remains the health and safety of our event participants, volunteers and staff. We also know how important this event is to our community. So, we’ve decided to go virtual!
What does that mean? It means that no matter where you are, you can participate in the 20th anniversary of this historic race. Whether in a park, around town, or even on a treadmill, you can run (or walk) in support of the autism community – support that is needed now more than ever. So, let’s take this Potomac event nationwide and gather Autism Speaks supporters, all across the country, to spread understanding and acceptance for people with autism.
Invite your friends and family, no matter where they are, to join in on some 4th of July fun!
What’s a race without great swag? Every registered participant will be sent a commemorative event shirt and finisher medal to show off your accomplishment and support for a kinder world. Click HERE to register to join this exciting event.
We hope you will join us as we kick-off the July 4th holiday weekend. Together, we will continue to enhance lives today and accelerate a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Susan Pereles
