This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Accelerate Action for Gender Equality.” Empowering women and girls is one of the most effective ways to achieve sustainable development, yet programs that support women and girls sadly remain severely underfunded. We must change that!
Joining us for a virtual presentation is Wendo Sahar, Founder and Executive Director of Dandelion Africa. Dandelion Africa is a Kenyan women-led NGO focused on women’s health and economic empowerment. Their programs cover reproductive health, maternal and child health, economic livelihoods, and more. Wendo has over a decade of experience in grassroots sustainability programs rooted in community-driven solutions.
The event will include a live Q&A, allowing attendees to engage with Wendo. We invite you to attend the event next Thursday, March 6th, at 1:00 pm ET/10:00 am PT.
