Halftime and Headway
John,
This has been a week of action for conservative leaders across our state!
Just yesterday, Governor Braun signed an executive order to combat fraud in
unemployment insurance, protecting this vital program from abuse while
encouraging work seeking.
Our legislators have finally reached half-time, having produced on a flurry of
bills to lower healthcare costs, expand educational opportunities, grow our
economy, and protect our communities.
Our Republican representatives in the House and Senate have been hard at work,
introducing legislation to protect American farmers and agriculture from our
foreign adversaries, passing the House Republican budget, and confirming
President Trump's cabinet nominees.
Here at the Indiana GOP HQ, we are proud of the work we have done to elect
committed conservative leaders up and down the ballot, and believe that the
results speak for themselves. With strong leadership and unwavering dedication,
we will continue to fight for policies that put hardworking Americans first,
protect our values, and build a more prosperous future for all Hoosiers. The
momentum is on our side, and we’re just getting started.
As always, thank you for being a part of our Indiana GOP team and please do
not hesitate to reach out if I can ever be of assistance.
Lana Keesling, Indiana GOP Chairwoman

Legislative Accomplishments
Governor Mike Braun and our Republican Legislators have been hard at work to
deliver for Hoosiers, lowering healthcare costs, expanding educational
opportunities, growing our economy, and improving public safety.
What he said: "It’s half-time in my first legislative session, and we’ve
already put big points on the board for the Freedom and Opportunity agenda on
kitchen table issues like lowering health care prices, putting parents in
charge of their kids’ education, cracking down on drug dealers and repeat
violent criminals, and making government more efficient. We’ve had a strong
start, and we’re not letting up in the second half."
