Deb is the first Native American in U.S. history to serve as a Cabinet Secretary. She is a 35th-generation New Mexican. She raised her child as a single mother. She is a proud member of Laguna Pueblo. She has served in Congress and knows what it’s like to struggle to afford housing and every day needs.
Many people believe that someone like Deb does not belong in power.
