I know it's been a tough year so far. Last fall, we knew a second Trump administration would be disastrous, but so far, it's been even worse than we imagined. 

Like you, I'm extremely alarmed by President Trump's actions: issuing a federal funding freeze that sent families and communities into chaos, firing several high-ranking military officials and damaging our national security, and much more. But the sheer amount of executive orders is overwhelming by design — it's a Project 2025 tactic meant to stop us from taking action.

John: I refuse to let MAGA extremists stop me from delivering on my promise to protect American families. So even as Trump's administration continues to unleash his dangerous agenda, I'm working to defend our democracy and win back our Senate majority. Can I count on you to join me?

We have a tough battle ahead of us, John, especially as this administration continues to threaten the Department of Education, Social Security, and Medicare and give Elon Musk an unprecedented amount of political and financial power.

However, I'm proud to share that we've already secured some major wins, including for our 9/11 survivors and first responders. The World Trade Center Health Program provides aid to nearly 130,000 first responders and survivors — and earlier this month, Sen. Chuck Schumer and I wrote a letter to HHS Secretary RFK Jr. urging him to remember the promise our country made to survivors and their families. We held the Trump administration accountable, and because of that, they ceased their 9/11 health program cuts and restored funding.

With your support, John, we can accomplish even more.
